Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data that appears on the comment form as well as the visitor’s IP address and string browser user in order to help us detect spam. An anonymized string generated from the email address (also called a “hash”) may be provided to the service Gravata to detect if you use it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/ . After your comment is approved, the image of the your profile picture is visible to the public within the context of your comment.

Multimedia

If you are uploading images to the site, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Site visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the site.

If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to have your name, email address and website saved in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you don’t have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we keep your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This is done so that we can automatically recognize and approve comments that you will leave, instead of keeping them in a moderation queue. For users who register on our site, we also store the personal data that they enter in their profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal data at any time (except for the being able to change their username). The administrators of this website may also view and edit this information.
